Paul Ryan has passed TWO (2) Laws into Congress in his 13 year span.... What are those laws you ask? July 2000 that renames a post office in his district. Thanks to Ryan, the post office on 1818 Milton Ave. in Janesville, Wis., is now known as "Les Aspin Post Office Building."The other time Ryan saw one of his bills become law was in December 2008, with legislation to change the way arrows (as in bows and arrows) are hit with an excise tax. Specifically, his bill amended the Internal Revenue Code to impose a 39-cent tax per arrow shaft, instead of a 12.4 percent tax on the sales price. The bill also "includes points suitable for use with arrows in the 11 percent excise tax on arrow parts and accessories."... This is a candidate for the Republican Vice President of the United States.
Ryan has come up with proposals to privatize Social Security and replace Medicare with a voucher program for seniors. On May 21, 2008, Ryan introduced H.R. 6110, The Path to Prosperity: A Roadmap for America's Future Act of 2008, commonly referred to as The Ryan Budget. This proposed legislation outlined changes to entitlement spending, including a controversial proposal to replace Medicare with a voucher program for seniors. The Roadmap found only eight sponsors and did not move past committee.
If he could only pass two minor bills in Congress after 13 years, what can he POSSIBLY do for America in 4?
